Earning income for the club by on-line shopping.

What is it?

As we at Great Horwood Football Club have our own website we have the chance to generate a small amount of revenue for the club through what is known as the Associate (Amazon.co.uk) or Affiliate (Argos.co.uk) schemes.  The more we shop through these retailers the more income we can generate.  With Amazon the club earn up to 10% of money spent through the referral scheme.  At Argos we can earn from 3%.  It is free for the club and for you when you make the purchase. 

Why to they do it?

Our website is basically advertising these retailers.  We are therefore rewarded with a percentage of all transactions.  Easy.

How do we do it?

You must commence shopping by using the links on the home page (or below) to access both Argos and Amazon websites.  These icons provide a coded link to the retailers to notify them that Great Horwood FC has been the referrer.

Will the club find out about peoples spending habits

Absolutely not.   As you would expect the transaction details are confidential and known only between the purchaser and the retailer.  Great Horwood FC are only told how much is spent in total (everyone's transactions) over a given period. 

Who collects payment?

The retailers will automatically send payment to our club Secretary who is the nominated payee.
