Great Horwood Football Club has two senior mens teams playing in the North Bucks District Football League.
The First Team play in the Premier Division of the League and the Reserves currently play in Division One.
Both teams play in Yellow shirts , Blue shorts and yellow socks.
The Swan Inn generously sponsors both teams and are excellent after match hosts to our beer fuelled match analysis.
Games are on Saturday afternoon and Training currently Thursday

A hard fought 1- 0 victory over Hellenic League Long Crendon in the final of the Oving Villages Cup on a cold Easter Monday gave Mighty Horwood another trophy to put in the cabinet.

New Kit For Reserves
The reserves have a new kit for season 2014/15. Thank you very much to Graeme and Gary at The Swan Inn for their sponsorship and hospitality after senior matches. The reserves return to the traditional club colours of yellow and blue for the current season.
Defeat at Loughton
30th November 2013 Unfortunately a first team missing several regulars was reduced to 10 men when Bobby Cooney was sent off for retaliation just after half time when we were already 3 -0 down. We were under pressure after missing a couple of early chances to take the lead but made a spirited come back.
First Team has a Big Win
5th october 2013 The first team recorded their biggest win in recent years with a 12 – 0 home win against Bow Brickhill. 8 goals from Adam Perna 3 for Adam Dixon and 1 for Jake Hilliard saw Horwood start to climb the league after a shaky start to the season. Just 4

League Champions
An unusual way to celebrate being League Champions as our opponents chose to not turn up. We had thrashed Syresham in midweek and they clearly did not fancy the return game so we had to make our own fun and as you can see we did.
